Dream Home: Rooftop Apartment.

Oh, I'm completely jealous of this Madderlake Designs rooftop apartment. The apartment is in Manhattan, but they were able to bring a cool, country vibe to it. I've always been torn between wanting to live in a big, bustling city and wanting to live out in the quiet country, surrounded by lots of sunshine and a lush, green landscape. Looks like I wouldn't have to choose with this place!

What about you, friends? Are you more city or country?

jealous doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about all of that natural light! It's beautiful.

I'm a country girl...born, raised and still live out in the country. The nearest city isn't too far away though...lol!
BTW I love all the windows!

I love how they just mention some guy named "joel" in the description, then when you see the pictures, it's Joel Grey!!!! Wow. Love that apartment!

I LOVE this! My heart is country 9I grew up way out in rural Michigan) but my electric wheelchair is definitely city, as is my taste for going to concerts and restaurants :-}

I love this apartment! What a dream :) I'm a little torn too.. I love the feel of a country home.
I love that you can step outside and smell FRESH air- the real kind. I love the peace and quiet. On the other hand, nothing beats the convenience of living in the city. Can you say take-out? I guess this apartment is the perfect compromise. If only.

Mmm, yeah! Having a room up on a big roof is pretty swell. It's like having your own backyard/garden far above the ground below.
