Dream Home: Rooftop Apartment.

Oh, I'm completely jealous of this Madderlake Designs rooftop apartment. The apartment is in Manhattan, but they were able to bring a cool, country vibe to it. I've always been torn between wanting to live in a big, bustling city and wanting to live out in the quiet country, surrounded by lots of sunshine and a lush, green landscape. Looks like I wouldn't have to choose with this place!

What about you, friends? Are you more city or country?

BTW I love all the windows!

  10. I love this apartment! What a dream :) I'm a little torn too.. I love the feel of a country home.
I love that you can step outside and smell FRESH air- the real kind. I love the peace and quiet. On the other hand, nothing beats the convenience of living in the city. Can you say take-out? I guess this apartment is the perfect compromise. If only.

  13. Mmm, yeah! Having a room up on a big roof is pretty swell. It's like having your own backyard/garden far above the ground below.
