Have you ever browsed the Missed Connections section on Craigslist? People can post messages hoping to reconnect with someone they had a chance meeting with (on the subway, on a street corner, in an elevator...), but missed the chance to talk to. Brooklyn-based artist Sophie Blackall creates these amazing illustrations inspired by people's messages (they're available in her shop too). I'm always in awe of people who can turn words into art to tell a story. Aren't these illustrations whimsical, romantic and fun?
Sophie is also releasing a collection of her work today called Missed Connections: Love, Lost & Found. Bravo, Sophie!Do you have your own "missed connection" story?

Love this and I love that there's a found section. That just makes me really happy.
That is really cool! I've heard about this before and even taken a look at the missed connections in Dallas once because I'd heard about it on the radio. It's a pretty sweet idea to begin with and the art work just brings it to life.
