Let's talk about hair today! Have you seen the Dear Hair trending topic on Twitter? It got me thinking: My sister and I have this running joke between the two of us: Every time I mention my hair color, a look of frustrated contempt crosses her face. She'll then launch into this speech about how my hair is not red. Bozo's hair, she asserts, is red. Mine, on the other hand, is autumnal or copper. But most definitely not red.She sort of has a point. If the sun catches my hair just right, I'm pretty sure that I could blend right in with the fall leaves and no one would even notice me. Actually, that's exactly what I wanted when I was a kid...to go unnoticed. I know, friends, it seems immpossoble now, but there was a time I absolutely hated having such a wild and loud hair color. When I was younger, I'd stare in envy at all the little blonde-headed and brown-headed girls -- heck, and little boys, for that matter -- and become so jealous of their hair. It made them like everyone else. It made them fit in.
But my hair? It made me stand out like a hot tamale. Now, as I get older, I'm loving my hair more and more every year. I'm loving that it makes me stand out from the rest of the crowd. Maybe that's why I've got a girl crush on these two cute redheads this afternoon. They've perfected that breezy and carefree look, don't you think? And, their hair is so gorgeous!!
So, Dear Red Hair: THANK YOU! Thank you for making me want to not blend in...

My hair is naturally a dark brown, it's alright but doesn't have much shine or life to it. i've been dying it since i was 15, it's been lots of different colours at lots of different times, bleach blonde, orange, red, black, browns, copper. Now its a browny red which i will admit to liking rather a lot!
Christina Hendricks is a dyed redhead, though.
I have medium brown hair. I did some of those box dyes in high school, but they never did much. Haven't dyed it since! I do want to do a ombre dye after my wedding in January though!

APPRECIATE YOUR RED HAIR! I had fire engine red hair up until high school, then I started dying it blonde because everyone made fun of me... and all the years of dying it blonde has completely taken the red out of my hair, now it's just a dirty brownish blonde color = ( wish I would have never dyed it in the first place

I started dying my hair when I was nine years old, and at that time my natural color was dark blonde/mouse brown. Now, my hair is a mess of brown and red and blonde highlights and lowlights, but I'm letting it grow out. Last time I went to a salon, I flat out asked the stylist what color my hair is. She looked at my roots under a strong light and told me it's a dark auburn. I think I like that.
my natural hair color.. and forever has been black.. ive thought of coloring it but i am sometimes awed with its darkness especially every morning (the only time that it looks nice and not totally messed up).. most of the time i envy others with a more different hair color.. like yours(your hair is so pretty ^_^).. but i think im already contented and happy with mine.. ^_^

My natural hair color is a mousy-ashy-greyish dark blonde-brunette. Which is why I have been wearing blonde streaks since 1998.

I'm a natural redhead! People always ask me if I color my hair & they want to know where they can get the color for themselves - it's all mine though :)
