That's me above, friends, proudly displaying my Beverly Hills 90210 game. Just like I do today, I was quite the conneseuir of television shows when I was younger. Like books, I loved getting lost in the adventures that unfolded before me. I was browsing clips on YouTube this morning, and was overwhelmed by just how many awesome ones I miss from the '80s...Mr. Roger's Neighborhood
Sesame Street
Smurfs
So tell me, friends, what shows captivated your young mind? Do you get nostalgic if you happen to see them on TV today? xoxo

( loved 902010 as a teen!)
i loved lost in space... haha!!! such a cheesy show but i loved it..
I watched cheers and mr belvidere as a child... my mother was convinced that cable tv was vulgar... which is funny because my mother is not at all uptight, I think she was just too lazy to get cable TV when I was growing up haha - that's ok though because I am also the kid that had (well, and currently has) every Disney movie ever made!

My favorite TV show was The Jetsons :)
The shows on TGIF...every Friday night from 8pm until 10pm I was glued to the television! PBS shows...for a long time that's all I was allowed to watch. Ninja Turtles and Ghost Busters. I was such a tomboy. Then after I got out of elementary school I kind of stopped watching television regularly.
I forgot about the chipmunks! LOVED them!
Anon -- I think i was about 13...

90210 was my poison!
I grew up on Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, Richard Scarry's Busytown, and Psalty the Singing Songbook, at least up until my tween/teen years, when we got cable, the Disney channel got big, and my sister started getting her hands on the remote.
i used to love punky brewster and the racoons!
i'm a 90's kid. arthur, duddly the dragon and teletubbies were my favorites when i was really young, and spongebob became my favorite (and still is) when i was soon after introduced to the world of satellite tv :)
Katie, did you watch kids incorporated and mickey mouse club? those were my absolute favorite shows on the disney channel! :)
I loved Sesame Street! It still makes me happy whenever I think about it.
