Wise Words From Readers: On spring cleaning

Last week, I introduced a new blog series, Wise Words From Readers, where I'll be picking your brains every Tuesday about the tips and tricks that help make your life easier, happier and all around more fun! Excited? I knew you'd be! So, to kick things off, I posed this question: What is your #1 spring cleaning tip? And, as predicted, your answers were equal parts awesome and amazing...

*Throw. It. Out.

*Pump up the volume! Music is your bestie when cleaning.

*Do just 10 mins a day so you don't get overwhelmed. Also, keep a scrub brush in the shower and scrub a little bit while the conditioner is sitting in your hair for five minutes.

*Open all the drapes (windows, too, if it is warm enough)...let the sunshine in!

*Don't spring clean! Winter clean when you're stuck inside. When spring comes, head outside!
Thanks for these tips, friends! Anything you'd add? And now, for next week's question...

What advice would you give your younger self if you had the chance?

Visit So About What I Said on Facebook and Twitter to share your smarts -- and don't forget to use hashtag #WiseWordsFromReaders. See you there, friends! :)

  1. To younger self: Be yourself, and be true to yourself - always :)

  2. To younger self: Don't be so quick to rush into marriage.

Your lovely comments make my day so much sweeter! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!
