Last November, visitors to the famed Grand Canyon were treated to the marvelous phenomenon known as total cloud inversion. The ground released heat fast enough at dawn to form cool, damp air inside the canyon. The result? A blanket of fog filling the canyon -- something that only happens once every decade!
