As difficult as it was to have to rebuild a home, we were humbled by the volunteers that came to help us. Many of them were complete strangers that knew us only from the 'net. Others were just good samaritans that just wanted to see their neighbors through a disaster. The word "community" now encapsulates entire 'net nations. I'm from NYC so she matters to me and those of us in Nashville, including myself, have given what they could to help you east coasters. New York and New Jersey will come back, I'm sure, to be even better than before ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
